Dog poops out rainbow Orbeez after mistaking them for a snack! (VIDEO)

Dogs, right? Just when you think you’ve seen it all, one goes and treats a bag of Orbeez like gourmet kibble. Recently, a curious pup found himself in quite the squishy predicament after devouring a whole bag of Orbeez—those colorful water beads meant for kids’ crafts and sensory play. Spoiler alert: things took a strange turn.

For those unfamiliar, Orbeez are tiny beads that expand dramatically when they come into contact with water. So, when this pup decided to snack on them, they ballooned inside his stomach like some kind of DIY balloon animal gone wrong. His digestive system quickly transformed into a bounce house!

A concerned Colorado owner rushed their dog to the emergency vet, where an x-ray revealed what every pet parent dreads: a stomach packed with a shocking number of hydrated Orbeez. And that was just 25% of what he had eaten! The remaining 75%? Those had to be surgically removed. This pup wasn’t just dealing with a tummy ache—he had a technicolor disaster going on inside.

The vet tech, with permission from the owner, shared the ordeal on TikTok as @larenmciaren, saying, “Accidents happen, and dogs are quick, y’all! He needed surgery to get the rest out, but he’s on the road to recovery.” The owner added that the dog was underweight, having been recently rescued, which makes you wonder if he mistook the Orbeez for a snack or was just embracing his new chaotic lifestyle.

The real kicker? He ate an entire bag of dry Orbeez! Since Orbeez only expand when hydrated, the full horror revealed itself later, as the beads swelled inside him. The result? A rainbow explosion during his next poop, with even more “material” to follow.

After the stress, surgery, and no doubt some hefty vet bills, this tough little guy is bouncing back. He’s still underweight, but the rainbow-poop saga has come to a colorful conclusion. While his owner may have earned a few new gray hairs from the ordeal, it’s a lesson for all of us: dogs will eat just about anything.

So, if you’ve got a furry friend, it might be wise to keep the Orbeez out of reach—unless you’re up for an unexpectedly vibrant experience.
